Nap Time!

Wow. I can't believe how long it's been since I've posted a blog. Well, I have been busy and graduation is only a month and a half away, Yeah! I am already looking for a job and I've had some people ask me to interview. Totally awesome! I can't wait to work and start earning my green and paying off that student loan.

Above is a picture I took a while back while visiting the Austin Zoo. I know people complain that it isn't an impressive zoo but I am quite proud of it. The majority of the animals are rescue animals. The big cats such as the lion passed out above were seized because they were abused or they just got to big for their owners to handle. The one thing that always makes me sad but happy is seeing the monkeys. You can tell which monkeys that have been raised with the idea of being a pet and when they are lab animals. The rescued lab monkeys are always hunched over or crippled with hair missing. It makes me feel better that they may have had a rough start but that they are being socialized with other monkeys in a larger setting then previously provided.

Anyways, I posted this pic because it looked so much like my Munchkin all passed out and sleeping. By the way, Munchkin is still hanging in there. Seriously, he's a bionic cat. Enjoy the picture and I hope to blog some more soon, it was fun!
