Freaky Friday!

Whew, finally my first round of tests have ended and I feel my creative juices returning. Lately, besides studying my ass off, I've been getting to know my classmates. I am enrolled in a very small program in which there are less than 40 students enrolled and I share classes with 19 of them. Since, I am in such a small program it hasn't taken me long to get to know them and their most intimate details. Here is a snippet. I know that one girl in my class has nipples rings, I know the bra size of at least 5 of my classmates, all girls, of course. I know that one girl was thinking of marrying a man who was bisexual and another girl got roofied at a bar, passed out, almost carried out of the bar by a possible rapist but luckily her roommate saved her ass and she only broke her leg instead requiring surgery to fix it. Another classmate's identity was stolen and only found out because a company called to say that he was overcharged on his card and need another card. After some investigating her realized it was his roommate and that he went on a spending spree for sex toys online. Let me tell you, I didn't know what a "pocket pussy" was until this morning when my classmate snuck into his roommate's room, took some pictures of his "toys" then showed it to the whole class. Wow! I now know way too much about my classmates. Then I got to thinking...I wonder if I also shared a little too much information? I wonder what my story is? Maybe I am guilty of talking about my husband or my cats too much and having the tendency to say the word "wonky". It's my PG version of FUBAR. But overall I think I am the most boring student there. Honestly, who cares, I am having way too much fun being in lab all day with people who are always entertaining and it's still early in the semester. I am sure I, too, will have that moment when I share way too much information. I just have to wait for it.

Yes, I'm guilty of sharing way too much information, much to my children's embarrassment. ;)

I'm laughing because I have the same plight as you. I know wayyy too much about the people around me. However, this is despite my attempt to NOT know too much. People just tell me things - I have no idea why. Most times, I'd really rather not know. Just so you feel better, I've never heard of a pocket pussy either. Sounds like school is at least entertaining for ya. ;-)

Tshsmom, I have no kids to embarass yet but I do have a husband who would probably want me to stop saying how cute my cats are. Thank God I got married I was that close to being a creepy cat lady.

Notta, school is very interesting especially with my crazy classmates. They like to share everything. It's the first time since high school that I can not go to the bathroom without an entourage, I feel like P-Diddy. When I try to be quiet it just gets worse. Maybe I need to talk more. Maybe my silence is an encouragement to fill the nervous quiet with all kinds of interesting conversations. I agree with you, I really rather not know half the time it just makes me a happier person. As they say ignorance is bliss.

Whoa! Waaay TMI to get from your classmates. But at least it's interesting stuff. ;)

LOL about "wonky", 'cause one of the actors in a play I ran the lights for last weekend was saying it so often the other actors started taking bets as to when he'd say it next. Then that got boring and they made HIM bets that he couldn't stop saying it. He lost.

I hate to break it to ya, but it's probably possible to be a married cat lady! Even Hemingway was a cat lady. ;)

Sme, I guess I should just except the fact that I am a wonky cat lady. On another TMI note...My classmates were trying to convince me to go to a singles mingle on Valentines day. I had to tell them no since I am married and he makes me plenty happy. Though, I am curious in how that whole speed dating thing works and if anyone actually met their lifemate at one of those things.

I wonder about that too. Speed-dating is such a strange idea...it seems like the romantic equivalent of McDonald's. It's like "If you can't prove you're the love of my life in 30 seconds, I have better things to do."
