Don Gato and the E-collar!
Here is are cute little Don Gato this morning. As you can tell he has an e-collar so he won't lick his IV catheter. He spent the whole weekend in the Animal Emergency Room. He has a really low red blood cell count, so low that he need a blood transfusion. He is still pretty sick and we are going to take him the regular vet today so we can figure out why he is so sick. We hope to get some good news. Don Gato is a little pissy and he is complaining that the day spa that we took him to was horrible. The food sucked, he got poked and prodded and he never got that seaweed wrap he asked for. He is much happier at home but he is still very sick. I'll keep you update on his condition but it is pretty serious.

Aww, poor kitty. My dog wears an E-collar, only it is made of hard plastic and faces the other way. We call her cone-head. It's the only way she won't chew on her hot spots. :-/
Notta, I like this soft e-collar but if Don Gato really wants to lick at it he can still get to it. He is so sad with his radar dish head and hopefully soon we can take it off.
Don Gato also complained that he didn't get that brazilian wax he requested. He said that Momma Ange made him into a believer. I guess he has seen what it does to Poppa Grant.
If Don Gato wants it he gets it but I think he is missing enough fur for shaving his areas for the IV catheter and jugular blood draw. He may want to keep his fur, he is much cutier when he doesn't look so patchy.
