Don Gato and the heating pad!

I promised an update on Don Gato and here it is! He has received a grand total of 2 blood transfusions and is scheduled to get a third tomorrow. He has been poked and prodded, scanned by an ultrasound machine and given shots and fluids and he is getting better very slowly. Looks like he had a really bad liver infection and his body started to attack and destroy his own blood cells which is not good but we caught it in time. It looks like it will be a long recovery and we are taking it one day at a time but so far so good.
