NOW SHOWING, Inky the Thirsty Kitten, THE MOVIE!

My foster kitten, Inky, is molesting my kitten, Snuggles. She is under the impression that milk is going to come out of...somewhere. The good news is that Snuggles doesn't seem to mind that Inky is violating his personal space and then some. Sorry about the poor resolution and no audio but this is my tester movie so I can see if I can actually post this thing. Enjoy the movie!

P.S. The movie seems to be loading slowly so be patient! Thanks!

When Plan A fails...

Finally, Plan B is over the counter. I think people worry about how it's wrong and blah, blah, blah but I think that the restrictions that they have are more than adequate. I am speaking from experience that not all people who have used emergency contraception are irresponsible. Accidents happen and there is nothing more scary than realizing that the condom you were using was actually caught in your ass crack the whole time. There is also nothing more scary that trying to sleep through the night and wait the hours until your gynecologist's office opens so you can get the prescription. There is nothing as scary as the nurse telling you that you should be okay because of where you are at on your period. There is nothing more scary than trying to find a place that carries Plan B because some pharmacists do not like stocking the stuff. There is nothing more scary than getting the talk from the pharmacist who thinks you are a slut and not a committed woman in a relationship who had to make the decision to eat and not spend 40 dollars a month for birth control but 10 dollars for a box of condoms. There is nothing more scary than to take those pills at work knowing that within a couple of hours you will experience the nausea that is one of the side effects and you will be tossing your cookies at work. There is nothing more scary than having to experience all of that within 24 hours and then wait to see if you are pregnant or not. Knowing that a woman can go in to a pharmacy, flash her ID and avoid all the above steps is worth it to me.

The evil cycle continues...

The evil cycle continues...It seems like Ana has taken this new batch of foster kittens and taught them her brand of evil and what to do to an unsuspecting cat nipple. This is Inky and she has a problem. I have busted her sucking on Lupita and even kitten sisters. I know that she will eventually grow out of it but sometimes like my Ana, suckling could be a habit that is hard to break. She gets it from me, I used to suck my thumb when I was a kid.  Posted by Picasa

Kittens in the Attic!

What the heck is going on!?! I think that we may have to get my little Snuggles, who is the white orange male kitten, fixed soon. He has been playing with his sister and kind of lingers when he wrestles her to the ground. I think he is feeling his hormones. When I went to the vet he told me I would have to wait for him to fill out his jockey shorts since he is still very young and small down there. So, in the meantime, I will have to be tolerant of their Flowers in the Attic love. But I have to admit they are cute together in a very forbidden way. Posted by Picasa

Little Lupita Angel Kitten!

Today's kitten profile is about Lupita, my sister's kitten. She is a four month old Aries who likes to have fun and and spend her afternoons cuddling with kittens and running around the house like her tail is on fire. My sister swears she is latin since she likes to roll her r's when she meows. She is turning into such a pretty cat and and her personality has changed from her feral devil kitten days. Right now, she is planning to run for a kitten beauty pageant and her hopes and dreams are for world peace and for a partner who has a well endowed wallet since she is addicted to everything couture. I think she was meowing the other day on how she wanted a Juicy Couture collar and some Manolo heels. Other than that she spends her days looking cute and buying stuff on EBay. Posted by Picasa

The Crime Fighting Cat aka Sunny Bunny Bear!

Here is the cat profile for the day. Sunny Bunny is a fun loving cat in a committed relationship (with my husband). In his free time he likes to molest my husband, eat cat nip, beg for water from the faucet and is the best cat house alarm. He warned me once that someone was kicking in our neighbor's door by hissing and yowling. I was able to call the cops and the guy was arrested, all thanks to my crazy cat. Most recently he woke up my sister by going crazy at her bedroom window, telling her that someone was lurking outside. Normally, he is a very mellow and quiet guy but if you are up to no good and around our house, watch out, he is going to go crazy on your ass. Other than that he likes to make biscuits on sleeping people when he isn't fighting crime.  Posted by Picasa

The cute chair stealing kittens!

Here is a photo of the new girls getting situated and learning from my cats the art of stealing a soft spot from the humans. They are adjusting well and are running around the house like their asses were on fire. I think kittens have two speeds, freaking fast and stop. My cats have settled down a bit but Snuggles is still being a little butt. Anyways, I am off to do some homework and steal back my chair from these cuties.  Posted by Picasa

Meet the new batch of foster kittens!

Say hello, to the new girls! Going from left to right we have, Wicket, Inky and Ophelia. They are sooo cute! They are about 7 weeks old and are very petite except for Wicket, she is huge! They all have a thick undercoat so they are little balls of fuzz. They arrived yesterday and it was a tough day. They were vaccinated, dewormed and given baths. They adjusted quickly are now tearing around the house. Ana and Snuggles are kind of cranky and hissy since they are the babies, I think it will take a bit for them to relax. Ana likes to just stare and growl. She always acts like this with new kittens but I am surprised on how hissy Snuggles is. They seem to be perfect except for Inky. She has a birth defect that has improved with time. At birth her left wrist was frozen but now she can move it but she is a little pigeon toed. I was worried about how adoptable she was but now I don't think she will have any problems. She is perfect. Posted by Picasa
