Oops, I Did it Again!

Okay, I totally love my husband so I did it again. I got that dreaded area...waxed for the second time. This time it didn't hurt as much as the first time. I actually had a pleasant experience. I went to my usual esthectician and she did a great job. I did the wax instead of the sugar and it didn't hurt nearly as much as it did last time...not even close. I was expecting the excrutiating pain from my last experience but I only felt a little discomfort a couple of times. I think that the person makes all the difference. She had a very calm demeanor, a light touch and asked if I was okay numerous times. She also recommended not to drink any caffeine or alcohol before coming in and it did make a difference in the amount of pain I felt. So, check out Keith Kristofer salon, I highly recommend it. Also, check out the brunette on the website. She is a good friend of mine and a cutie patootie, too!

Chilly? Put another cat on the bed!

Here is a rare picture of all three of my cats on my bed sleeping with me. I edited it out my ugly mug because as it turns out I am no Sleeping Beauty. I am a little rough around the edges until I get that morning cup of coffee and then I do that magical transformation into Cinderella. Let's just say my husband keeps caffeine stocked in the house at all times. Anyways, this is rare moment captured on film here. My cats always are oppositely charged batteries and are repelled by one another but occasionally they all join forces to steal away my warmth. As I remember I took this in the winter near Christmas and the house dipped down to a chilly 74 degrees in the house. Way too cold as you can tell by the cuddling cats. Here's to my cats, the best set of heat stealers and blanket hogs I could ever ask for, seriously, they're worse then my husband. Posted by Picasa

Ana's Pearl Necklace!

I just realized that I haven't posted anything in a long time so here is a cute pix of my kitty, Ana with a pearl necklace. Hey, get your mind out of the gutter people, she actually has a pearl necklace on. I have been busy with school lately and I haven't had much time to fill you in on my life but here is a brief list of things that have happened to or that I have done.

- Ate at the Salt Lick Restaurant! Very tasty BBQ and the band was playing some music and we had a rocking good time!
- I went to a cat show that was really creepy but I saw all kinds of cats and their eccentric owners. It was like I was coming home to the mothership!
- I went to try my luck at bellydancing at the Copa. It felt good to get my bellydance on 'cause my hips don't lie!
- I am enjoying married life and I realize that men have very basic needs. Food, sleep and sex make my husband a very happy camper.
- I think that I may be addicted to EBay since I can never purchase anything in a store anymore without first wondering if I could get it cheaper there.
- The outdoor cats that we feed regularly are getting more friends at the food bowel. I told them that they would have to get jobs soon since feeding them all is getting expensive. Pixs coming soon!
- School is almost over and I am trying to get a part time job. We'll see how that works out.

Overall, I am the same and I hope to post some more pictures soon after school ends so keep your eyes peeled for some drunk photos of moi! Posted by Picasa

In the hands of an angry zit!

I have recovered enough from the evil zit that haunted all my pictures at my husband's brother's wedding to talk about it. While driving up to Alabama, a huge zit appeared on my nose that defied description. The only thing that I can say is that in every teen angst movie there is that sad nerd with the hugest, juiciest, most repulsive zit on their nose...well, that person was me. I tried to hide it with makeup but my husband noticed it right off the bat and gave it a name, Beatrice. Thanks, hon. It is so true when they say naming something gives it power because she wouldn't go away. I dread seeing any photos of myself because it was bad, I mean BAD. I am doing so much better now and glad that it's over with but next time I won't get so stressed and I am definitely going for that facial Notta recommended.

Fun cakes and friskiness at weddings!

We're back! My husband and I went to his brother's wedding this weekend. I had to take a picture of the grooms cake. It's too cool. I am a UT graduate so this cake just tickles me orange. Plus it was a yummy red velvet cake. We had a great time except for the fact that we drove from Texas to Alabama. It was a boring 12 hour drive from Austin to Birmingham. When we arrived we were exhausted and slept like the dead. We had one day of rest then we hit the road again. Honestly, I am going to fly next time. 12 hours is just too long to be sitting on one's behind but even after spending almost 10 years together, my husband and I still have lots to talk about. Overall, I had a great time I just wish I had more time to just enjoy the festivities but my husband and I enjoyed each other, at least. Also, there is an added bonus about weddings. I don't know if this happens to anyone else but weddings are guaranteed to make me frisky and my husband doesn't pass up any because of that. Anyways, I wish the bride and groom many wishes of happiness!  Posted by Picasa
